2001 by Father and Son team Neil and Stuart Harrison. Based in
the border town of Biggar, South Lanarkshire, APL has over 45 years
of experience in the fire and security industry with unparalleled
expertise in Automatic Fire Extinguishing & Fire Suppression systems.
Initially APL offered a wide variety of fire and security services
and consultation, but demand from their client base saw them becoming
specialists in automatic fire suppression & extinguishing systems,
including their DetExt
F/F Automatic Fire Extinguishers. This has led them
to becoming the most experienced company in the world in offering
this type of protection for all types of storage machines, mobile
and static racking.
Any company that has electrical equipment, valuable machinery or critical material/components vital to their business can utilise this system.
APL offers a complete package of: design, installation, commission
& maintenance of each system, this includes automatic detection:
smoke, flame, heat and HSSD
(high sensitivity smoke detection) and the fire suppression system
with whichever extinguishing agent is required. APL can also offer
assistance in the sealing of the protected rooms and include full
Room Integrity Testing.
APL, through their own engineers or by utilising specifically trained subcontractors can offer their service throughout the United Kingdom & Ireland and have installations throughout the world.
