Direct Sound Evacuation

Developed at Leeds University, the Localiser directional sound system is a multi-frequency (“white noise”) sound which is ideal for evacuation in the event of fire alarm activation. The Sound Alert system is invaluable in assisting people to make their way out of a building or an area that is smoke filled or has a maze of passageways.

Fatalities in fire are often caused by inhalation of poisonous smoke. The installation of this award winning system could have assisted in rapid evacuation and saved lives.

In fact it has been proven this in utilising this technology that there is a 75% improvement in evacuation time.
