SOUTH WALES POLICE, CARDIFF
The storage machine housing criminal finger prints, had an overheating component within the electrical/electronic compartment of the machine, the local application Pyroflex system discharged and raised the alarm. The only damage caused was the faulty resistor which had to be replaced. The Co2 total flood system protecting the contents of the machine was not discharged as the problem was eliminated directly at the source.
