| This conventional method if automatic detection and extinguishing systems utilises double knock or coincidence operation of the smoke detection system. The smoke detectors are wired in two zones, any one detector will give you an alarm a second detector E.G. the next detector will discharge the extinguishant within the protected areas. This system has a control panel and the facility to have the system on manual automatic or isolated. It is recommended that any air movements systems are closed down and that the area has a full integrity test carried out to ensure the systems ability to extinguish fire and prevent re ignition.
These systems can be integrated with an aspirating system and with a variety of extinguishing agents such as Co2, FM200, Novec 1230, Argonite, Nitrogen etc.
